FASHION : CELEBRITY STYLE ICONS WE LOVE : VOLUME 2
Today's blog post is Part 2 of our Celebrity Style Icons! This is an extension list of the celebrity styles that we love and why we love them. From Rachel McAdams and Lauren Conrad to Matty Healy, we have listed all of the inspirations we get from these celebrities.

Lauren Conrad (aka Fashionista of The Hills)
We have loved Lauren Conrad's style since the first episode of Laguna Beach. From the beginning to her time on The Hills, Lauren always stood out from the crowd. Whether she was running errands, working, or going to a high fashion event, her style has been well put together and classy. The thing we love most about Conrad's style over the years is that although she tends to have a classic girly style, she has always managed to put a twist to things. Lauren has never been afraid to pair a simple top with a leather skirt or leather leggings. Even with her casual attire, she will pair jeans and a top with a fashion flat or a designer stiletto. We also love the fact that Lauren even wears her own fashion lines, which is so great. No matter if it comes from her couture line or her Kohl's line, Lauren has worn it all!
NOTE: Aside from her incredible style, we are also huge fans of Conrad's hair. Although she has made subtle changes throughout the years, she has stayed consistent with her blonde locks, whether they've been platinum or ombré.

Lauren : Cute & Casual

Paul Jason Klein (aka The New Guy With Nostalgia)
Paul Jason Klein brings total nostalgia when it comes to fashion. He is, in a sense, a mix of a real life Eric Draven and a 90s grunge lead singer. Klein, a model and musician, brings an effortless style to the table in the age of reductive and over-used narratives and aesthetics. His use of a classic leather jacket and a distressed denim jacket mixed with "rag" clothing makes for a signature style of his own. The thing we love most about Klein's style is the fact that he can mix mess with articulate and make it look as if he stepped out of a designer ad.
Paul : Messy Jackets

Paul : Rockstar Casual

Rachel McAdams (aka Hollywood Classic With A Twist)
Rachel is the classic twist that everyone loves. She is constantly giving us a Hollywood classic style with a bit of an edge and that is why she is on our list of style icons. What we love most about Rachel's style is that she isn't afraid to go full glam or take a risk, she almost has two styles. Typically on the major award and premiere red carpets, Rachel tends to choose old Hollywood-style dresses, while going for a much edgier look at other events. We also appreciate that the McAdams style does often change depending on her hair style, which is a great thing. When she has longer hair, she tends to wear that classic style and when she rocks a shorter, messier look, she goes for a twist.

Jamie Campbell Bower (aka The Living Vampire)
Jamie is the epitome of what you would consider a living vampire. In the words of the Countess, "your boy has a jawline for days" (AHS: Hotel). He possesses all of the qualities you could ever want in a British actor by day/rockstar by night, Bower knows how to perfectly blend his film red carpet style with his musician style. As you will see throughout this blog piece, ELECTRIC appreciates a guy with a leather jacket and Bower is definitely at the top of that list. We also love that Jamie appreciates a black boot like we do, which he uses to add an edge to all of his outfits. Tussled hair, sunglasses, and with his signature chain belt, Bower is always consistent with his aesthetic and wardrobe.
Jamie : Rockstar

Jamie : Casual Actor

Lana Del Rey (aka The Era)
WE LOVE LANA! What more can we say?! She is one of our top fashion icons because she has possessed the ability throughout her career to seamlessly move from era to era while staying consistent to her individuality. Del Rey has made a point of creating a specific aesthetic era for each of her albums and dresses accordingly. While always staying true to herself, Lana has created characters, in a sense, to represent each era and each character has their own touch that they add to her style repertoire. Del Rey has a much underrated style: a hybrid of dark, classic and rock 'n' roll. She can go from red carpet glam to t-shirt and jeans in the same day, all while sporting an amazing blowout and never smudged winged eyeliner. Lana Del Rey presents an entire package when it comes to fashion, a fashion glam we can adore and a street style we can attain.

Matty Healy (aka Perfected Black Leather & Denim)
"It's Matty if we're gonna do it properly." - Matty Healy : Yes, that's why we love Matty and his style, because he has always exuded confidence and self awareness. Matty Healy is a rockstar by nature, a male fashionista, and a designer brand lover. These are all of the reasons that landed him on our list of fashion icons. From leather jackets and ripped jeans to man buns and formal wear, Matty always adds a rock edge to his wardrobe. In our opinion, 2014 was Healy's best year for authentic wardrobe, with a self-proclaimed eleven pairs of the same ripped knee black jeans, a classic black leather jacket and countless Kooples flower print shirts, Matty surely did put the rock in his rock 'n' roll style perfectly. Even coming from a girl's POV, I personally get a lot of inspiration from Healy's style, which is another reason why he is on our list. Healy's style continues to inspire both guys and girls.
Matty : Stage Persona

Matty : Formal-ish
