IPSY - October Glam Bag

We are excited to share that we have received our very first IPSY Kit! ELECTRIC is always looking for fun, new products to try so we jumped at the recent opportunity to get an IPSY Kit and luckily for us, we received a coveted spot on the list just in time to receive the October Glam Bag. After completing my IPSY profile on their website, I was eager to see what goodies I would be getting in my bag and I have to say, ELECTRIC was not disappointed. As promised, IPSY delivered high end, must have products in sample and travel sizes.

I love Tarte Cosmetics, it is a personal favorite makeup brand, so I was happy to receive a Tarte Lights Camera Lashes mascara in my bag. Even though I am a Tarte brand consumer, I had actually never used their mascara before and after trying this sample, it will definitely be a future full size purchase.

The next item that I was happy to receive in the October Glam Bag was the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder. I have wanted to try IT Cosmetics for a while because I have heard great things about it so this sample came as a great surprise. Typically, I use a mousse-based foundation, so trying the light and airy powder was refreshing. I liked how it eased on to the skin smoothly and did not blemish.

The sample Studio Makeup Gloss Couleur Intense in Kiss is a great lip feature for the Fall season. Personally, I am not a lip gloss user, so I had my mother try this product and she loved it. The medium berry shade gloss is great for the Fall season because it does give a darker appear, but yet is not as dark as a wine shade so it is great for anyone looking for something in the middle. It also glided on the lip fairly easy so it definitely can be re-applied during the day or night when needed without a fuss.

The Neon & Company Treatment Oil for dry hair ends travel size bottle is a product I had previously seen on the IPSY website and was happy to see included in my glam bag. I have not yet tried this product but have heard great things about and will definitely be posting a review on it once I have tried it.

The glam bag that I received had not one, but two, Bio Republic Pomegranate Crush Illuminating and Cucumber Breeze Soothing Fiber Sheet Masks included, which I am very excited about. I have previously used Bio Republic and have found their products to be so good for the skin. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to refresh their skin with a relaxing facial mask.

Last, but definitely not least, we have to discuss the adorable IPSY Cosmetic Bag in Crimson Red with a Bat Zipper Detail that we received. I, a self-proclaimed goth girl, absolutely love this cosmetic bag! It is a great size, big enough to fit your makeup, yet small enough to slip into your purse, embellished with a matte lace print and black bat zipper detail. I was beyond excited to have received this particular makeup case as my GLAM BAG.

ELECTRIC highly recommends purchasing an IPSY Glam Bag subscription. For only $10 a month, you too can receive a fun "gift to yourself" every month, filled with beauty and cosmetic goodies. Typically, the glam bag includes 5 - 6 sample and/or travel size products. If you are lucky enough to obtain a spot on their glam bag list (when you first sign up for a subscription, it is common and likely that you will be put on the waitlist - although there are a few little social media tricks you can do to surpass this), you will most definitely not regret the decision to become an IPSY Glam Bag member.
