The Almond Orchard
- Cauliflower Risotto (with pulled chicken, artichokes, spinach and parmesan cheese)
- Banana Almond Soft-serve Sundae (with fresh berries and crunchy chocolate oates)
Mexico
- Corona Draft Beer with Floater
China
-Spicy Chicken Bao Bun
India
- Madras Red Curry (with roasted cauliflower, baby carrots, chick peas and basmati rice)
We are sad to say that we were, unfortunately, extremely disappointed by this dish. Personally, I love anything curry, it is my favorite flavor of foods, I even like to consider myself a curry connoisseur, but the curry seemed to be lost among the other ingredients of this dish. The other thing that was unfortunate was that this dish was listed to be paired with basmati rice (another one of my personally beloved foods), but it was normal, white rice. I had been so excited to try this culinary treat, but sadly, it did not give us the feels.
Brewer's Collection
- Schfferhofer Hefeweizen Pomegranate Beer
Spain
- Charcuterie In A Cone (with a selection of imported Spanish meats, cheeses and olives with an herb vinaigrette)
Morocco
- Spicy Hummus Fries (with cucumber, tomato, onions and Tzatziki sauce)
- Vegetable Platter (served with Tangierine couscous salad, hummus and tabouleh)
Morocco is one of our favorite food stops all year long at Epcot's World Showcase and we were not disappointed during the festival! The Morocco stand, along with Tangierine Café, served two of our favorite dishes. The Vegetable Platter from Tangierine Café is one of our must eats every time we visit Epcot. A delicious sample plate of chick pea salad, lentil salad, falafel, hummus, greens, olive salad, couscous salad and tabouleh, this dish is a perfect serving for not only the vegetarians, but for everyone. We always choose to use this dish as a shareable snack (one can comfortably feed 2-3 people). We also chose to try the Spicy Hummus Fries with cucumber, tomato, onions and Tzatziki sauce from the pavilion's festival stand. This dish was definitely one of the better festival specialities!
Belgium
- Leffe Blonde Belgian Pale Ale
Brazil
- Pão de Queijo (Brazilian cheese bread)
This was an unexpected food stop on our travels through the World Showcase festival food stands, but we are definitely happy that we gave it a shot. The Pão de Queijo Brazilian cheese bread was surprisingly decadent. The luscious cheese curd wrapped in an almost pastry-like bread was the perfect sharing snack. Two came in one order, which we shared between three people.
Ireland
- Guinness Blonde American Lager
Earth Eats
- Ricotta and Zucchini Ravioli (with rustic tomato sauce)
Costal Eats
- Lump Crab Cake (with Napa cabbage slaw and avocado-lemongrass cream)
We have to note that we were highly disappointed in the foods we tried from the Earth Eats and Costal Eats stands. We had expected them to be a higher standard since these were two of the stands that were sponsored by ABC's The Chew. We did enjoy the Avocado-Lemongrass Cream that accompanied the Lump Crab Cake, it was, to be honest, the best thing about the dish. The Ricotta and Zucchini Ravioli, a vegetarian dish, unfortunately, was a bit too stringy and bland. Again, we had high hopes for these stands but they did not stand out.
